When using this thermometer repeatedly, ensure it is shaken down to at least 96.8 °F. In cold winter conditions, the liquid will be contained in the bulb, indicating room temperature. The thermometer can be used without shaking it for the first time upon removing it from the box. If this is not the case, shake the thermometer before use.

Featuring a stop feature in the tube, this thermometer is designed to securely lock the data in place. While the temperature reading may rise, it will not decrease automatically unless the thermometer is shaken (tip down).

Rotate the thermometer slightly (3 to 5 degrees) to adjust the viewing angle, making it easier to read the temperature accurately.

Avoid exposing the thermometer to hot water, as the high temperature may exceed the thermometer's range, potentially causing damage.

To reset the thermometer, do not place it in the refrigerator or cold water. The only way to lower the liquid column is to vigorously shake the thermometer.
